Shipping & Returns

Refund Policy

Regular priced merchandise in its original, undamaged and unused condition, with its original tags and packaging, may be returned for refund within 30 days of the order date, plus applicable shipment time. Sale merchandise in its original, undamaged and unused condition, may be returned for refund within 14 days of the order date, plus applicable shipment time. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the shipment email or packing slip. Items marked as Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

We will not accept the following items for return:

(i) Paint & stain that have been tinted or customized:.

(ii) Special order items, blinds, wallpaper, equipment.

(iii) Items that have been used, altered or that show wear or damage.

(iv) Paint and/or stain that has been frozen and/or weathered. 

(v) For reasons of hygiene and the personal safety of our customers, we regret that the following items may not be returned: mask(s), glove(s) and coverall(s).

For promotional items and bundles, all included products and/or services must be returned together. If a service included in the promotion and/or bundle has been used (for example a used promotional promo code), the full retail value of the service will be deducted from the refund amount. When a bundle is purchased and only part of the bundle is returned, the bundle discount is void, and the total bundle discount will be deducted from the refund.

Return Guidelines

Eligible returns must be made in a Colour Sense store location. Refunds will not be processed until the merchandise is received by Colour Sense in accordance with our Return Policy.

Once Colour Sense receives your return and determines that it complies with our Online Return Policy, we will refund the cost of your merchandise, plus applicable taxes, to your original method(s) of payment. Please allow 2 business days from the receipt of your return at our store for processing and up to 5 business days for the refund to be posted to your credit card.

Colour Sense will not be liable for any returns received that do not comply with our return requirements. 

Returns that do not comply with the return requirements will be given back. 

Exchange Guidelines

Subject to item availability, item(s) purchased at bmcoloursense.ca may be exchanged in-store. Merchandise returned must be in accordance with Colour Sense's Online Return Policy.

Delivery

All orders are delivered through our local in-home delivery service, offered at a flat rate, based on your delivery address. Once your order is ready to ship, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery date. We will confirm a delivery window between 8am - 7pm. Shipping windows are estimates and delivery times are not guaranteed as orders may experience unexpected delays (e.g., traffic, weather, additional payment analysis, etc.). Please allow extra time for deliveries to remote markets. When ordering, a phone number is required for the destination shipping address so our carriers can contact the recipient if required. Delivery is only available Monday through Friday, not including federal and provincial statutory holidays.  A signature will be required for all delivery orders over $200. We are unable to change the shipping address once your order has been submitted. Colour Sense will not be liable for loss of any package(s) for which a delivery signature was not obtained. 

Tracking Your Order

We will send updates regarding the status of your order to the email address or phone number you provided when placing your order, including when your item(s) ship. 

Availability

Shipping is subject to product availability. In exceptional cases, where inventory for select items is no longer available, that item may be removed from your order and all other items will be shipped. Refer to your shipment confirmation email to review all items shipped and the amount charged to your card. Depending on the size of your items and fulfillment location, you may receive your order in multiple packages. Check your tracking information in your shipping confirmation email to determine if you should expect multiple shipments.

IN-STORE PICK-UP

You will receive an email confirmation or phone call when all of your order is ready for pick up at the store. The original receipt or e-mail receipt is required at the time of pick-up.

Please ensure the vehicle used for the pick-up will accommodate the merchandise in its original packaging. The product warranty applies on merchandise leaving Colour Sense store in its original packaging. Colour Sense personnel is not responsible for loading the merchandise into your vehicle and cannot be held responsible for merchandise that cannot be loaded into your vehicle due to the weight and/or dimensions of the merchandise.
